    • General Policies

    • Clients are no longer required to wear masks but may continue to do so, if desired.
    • Clients may request that their therapist or staff member wear a mask in their presence
    • Staff are no longer required to wear masks but may continue to do so, if desired.

  • Adirondack Salt Cave is now By Appointment Only

    • Everyone will be required to CALL to schedule an appointment.
    • NO walk-ins will be accepted at this time so we can better control the number of people in our facility at one time.
    • If you are late, you will be asked to reschedule. We need the time in between sessions to clean and disinfect. Please, NO EXCEPTIONS.
    • If you are not feeling well on the day of your appointment, please contact us ASAP to cancel or reschedule, there will be NO cancellation penalty.

Adirondack Salt Cave is taking steps to minimize people contacting each other before and after their service

  • Halotherapy will continue to start on the hour but sessions will now have a maximum of 4 people per session and be scheduled every other hour.
  • To minimize the time clients are in the lobby area, our intake forms are now available on our website, adirondacksaltcave.com:
    • Massage Clients: if this is your first appointment since our re-opening; please print the:
      Massage Intake Form,
      Fill it out as completely as possible & bring the completed form with you to your appointment.
    • Halotherapy Clients: if this is your first Halotherapy Session at ASC; please print the:
      Halotherapy Intake Form,
      Fill it out as completely as possible & bring the completed form with you to your appointment.

When calling to make an appointment, Adirondack Salt Cave (ASC) will:

  • Schedule your appointment
  • Confirm your contact information
    • Full name
    • E-mail
    • Phone #
  • Advise you that our intake forms are now available on our website, adirondacksaltcave.com:
    • Massage Clients:
      if this is your first appointment since our re-opening; please print the:
      Massage Intake Form,
      Fill it out as completely as possible & bring the completed form with you to your appointment.
    • Halotherapy Clients:
      if this is your first Halotherapy Session at ASC; please print the:
      Halotherapy Intake Form,
      Fill it out as completely as possible & bring the completed form with you to your appointment.

Arrival Procedures

  • Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your appointment.
  • When you arrive
    • If you booked your Massage Appointment directly with your therapist, please contact your therapist.
    • If you have arrived for Halotherapy, please come to the suite and we will greet you at the door.

Your therapist or ASC staff will escort you to the appropriate room for your service.

When entering the suite please:

  • Use hand sanitizer before entering the suite
  • Remove and place shoes near coat rack at front door

 

Service Procedures

Massage or Waxing Services

    • Use hand sanitizer before entering treatment room
    • When Massage or Waxing Services are completed, you have had the opportunity to dress, and before exiting the treatment room please:
      • Pay the therapist directly
      • Rebook your next session
    • Use hand sanitizer near the light switch before leaving treatment room
    • Your therapist will escort you out of the suite.

Halotherapy Session

    • You will be escorted by the ASC staff to the Salt Cave.
    • ASC staff will open door to Cave for touch-less entrance.
    • When entering the Cave please:
      • Use hand sanitizer before entering Salt Cave
      • Place phone in locker
      • Take blanket from cubbie
      • Cover yourself with blanket
    • Once seated ASC staff will recline and lock your chair
    • When service is over please:
      • Gather up blanket to drop in hamper when leaving the Cave
      • Wait for ASC staff to escort you out of the Salt Cave
    • ASC staff member will escort you to the lobby to finalize payment and re-book.
