First time going to the Salt Cave. It was off a recommendation from my personal trainer. Jennifer credentials matched with the perfectly with my needs. We discussed the areas of focus. After just work on my left side of my body I could see the tension loose and movement was better. Glad I made the appointment and looking forward to my next session.

Adirondak Salt Cave is off the beaten path luxury. The building is beautiful and the facility inviting. The reception area is cool w many handmade gift items. The massage was the icing on the cake. Henrik was amazing. Best massage I’ve ever had! Left the facility relaxed but invigorated. Lastly, huge parking area. Win win.

Hendrik is a dream come true for a massage therapist. I had shoulder issues (pre-surgery) which he addressed in magnificent ways! His extensive experience in a number of modalities is the perfect blend of East & West massage techniques. Professional but personable I knew from the jump I was in excellent hands, Literally.

Incredibly relaxing experience!

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our couples massage in the salt cave. Heather and Naomi were wonderful therapists. The ambiance of the entire place was so warm and welcoming. Can’t wait to return.

Having dealt with having pneumonia twice in two months, most of my body especially my upper back has been stiff from coughing and being unwell. I definitely needed a reset and fast. I checked around to see who I could go to for a massage and called Adirondack Salt Cave for availability. They scheduled me with Hendrick and I added cupping as an add-on. Walking in, the room is dimly lit with salt lamps on the floor so you can rest your feet on them while you wait. There's jewelry, salt lamps, cherapy warming wraps (warmies made from cherry pits) and a few other things for sale, and the ladies at the front desk were so sweet and welcoming. The massage: Hendrick was very professional, attentive and took the time to listen to my concerns and to also explain to me in depth detail about how the massage would be done. I got a Swedish massage with cupping integrated in said massage and all I can say is my body feels less tight, relaxed and my upper back can breathe more easily than before. Thank you for giving my body and mind a huge reset. Will absolutely be returning!

This is the best place to for self-care and pampering. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is pleasant and accommodating, and the salty air is so helpful for controlling my asthma symptoms. Whether I go for halo therapy or a massage, I always feel wonderful when I leave.

My girlfriend and i went in for a couples massage… for my birthday, a few months ago. It was the worst experience of my life… i genuinely had to hold back tears whilst getting a massage.. i have nerve damage from being in the military… sometimes i am able to receive a full body massage no problems and other times it is way too sensitive (which i explained in the beginning) and i am unable to handle it. As soon as the massage started i could tell my back was way too sensitive to be worked on.. instead of the therapist being understanding/accommodating she took it personal… at a point she threw her hands back and angrily said “well what do you want me to do” she then basically threw the sheet that was covering me back on me as if she had an attitude? she could tell i was tensing up instead of relaxing… and instead of being able to communicate normally (because it isn't her fault i have nerve damage) she got offensive and a bit hostile… i told her to skip my back and move on to other parts… if my girlfriend wasn't in the room i would have left but I didn't want to ruin her massage. Thats when i started to hold back tears because i just felt so overwhelmed. There was a time i adjusted my neck because i felt my hair getting stuck and she again threw her hands back and waited for me to stop moving? I already am weary about getting massages but that experience truly ruined it for me. I felt unwelcome and left more anxious/stressed than when i came in… very odd experience. I dont remember her name, maybe Karen, Naomi?. She was blonde. I think about this experience often as my gf paid a few hundred dollars for this and it turned out horrible. The lady at the front desk was nice though.

I’ve been with Christine for massage for the last few years and can’t say enough good about her. She’s obviously well experienced and does a wonderful job. I so looked forward to every visit!! The office does a great job all around with confirming appointments and trying to accommodate everyone.

I had an amazing Swedish massage with Naomi at the Adirondack Salt Cave. She was very attentive to my problem areas and was very kind. I even picked up some lovely earrings and hand soap that smelled delicious. It was a wonderful, calming experience.

Kate was incredible. She used the perfect amount of pressure during my prenatal massage. As someone with more sensitivity and limited mobility due to rheumatoid arthritis, I don't always feel safe during massages, but I felt incredibly comfortable and well taken care of during this one. yesterday I had a 90 min massage scheduled and Naomi didn't realize it was 90, she thought it was 60 mins. after I got dressed, she came back in and apologized..and I didn't even realize it because I was so relaxed! she had me lay back down for 30 mins of foot reflexology, which was even more relaxing!! then she adjusted my bill to just a 60 mins massage! Great massages, honesty, relaxing! highly recommend!

The Adirondack Salt Cave was my go-to place before and after a major certification exam. I relaxed with a therapeutic cello sound healing event the day before then celebrated with a massage a few days later. It’s an amazing space with welcoming and talented people.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was warm and welcoming. Kelsey provided an exceptional massage treatment, making the entire experience feel incredibly luxurious and indulgent.

I’ve had many facials but truly a facial with Robin is always a unique & great experience. This month Robin gave me a MICROCURRENT TREATMENT. A little harsher than a facial due to the pressure of electric current-the focus is ONLY entire face.she adjusts the pressure as she applies current all over face forehead neck. It is stimulating I endure cause I want to see results!! . Robin knows her products, she suggests but is not pushy, she knows her clients. Her skills her attention to my comfort, her expertise, and the extras like the upper body massage, thé scalp massage, thé heated mitts for hands. I could go on. Just try it fir yourself. You will not b disappointed. Just don’t try to take my MONTHLY appt!! 😉❤️

What a lovely stop we made here on our way to Lake George for a girls trip. We called it the Calm Before the Storm and it was the perfect spot to meet up and start our trip. Six of us ladies had the Salt Cave to ourselves as we all celebrated our 60th birthdays and 42 years of friendship. The ladies who served us were darling and treated us with a special kindness that all of us will remember forever!

My sisters and I had a really wonderful session here in the salt caves. We were helped by very kind people who took time to learn more about our trip and explained what to expect during our session in the salt cave. We had a 45 minute session and left super relaxed and breathing easier. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere is so relaxing from the minute you walk in and the staff are so friendly and helpful. My sisters and I came here during our bachelorette weekend and it was a perfect way to start our day. We did the halotherapy for 45 minutes and I’ve never felt more relaxed. This is a wonderful place to visit if you’re looking to relax while also getting health benefits from the salt. You also can’t beat the price! We will definitely be back!

Don't count on tranquility during your massage here. A man and woman talked loudly the whole hour I was getting a massage in the next room. They were laughing and carrying on quite loudly. This happened twice when I went there for massage and I then asked the owner to correct this problem and to please have their people follow spa etiquette, and I was told I can go somewhere else. Very poorly run, horrible experience, and hard to get appointments anyway, they have very limited hours for each of their services.

Serene setting for holistic healing. It starts with the aroma and gentle sounds when you enter. The friendly staff greets you with flavored water (blackberries last week when I went). Heather is a master at massage. I have also visited for cello sound healing with the Himalayan salt treatment. Amazing.

Robin Dygert is top notch. I've been receiving facials for 20 years. Robin delivers the most thorough facial I've ever received. Robin knows and understands skin well. She is an expert with product and regimens to protect, nourish and enhance your skin. He service is thorough with cleaning, massage, exfoliation, and facial masks-just to mention a few. Her service last well beyond an hour with upper chest, shoulder, scalp and arm massage. These massage processes occur while facial steps are processing and/or the steaming process. Her eyebrow technique is exceptional. She provides numerous waxing services as well. You leave after Robin's services feeling relaxed and peaceful. Robin's time and dedication spent with each client, cannot be found anywhere else. I highly recommend Robin to anyone looking for an esthetician.

Heather Fish was my massage therapist. I did a 90 minute deep tissue massage massage. I’ve had many done over the years And enjoy a very strong massage for chronic pain. Heather was fantastic. She listened to the type of massage I wanted and delivered 1000%! I’m rarely ever sore the next day after a massage and today I am. This is a beautiful spa. Beautifully set up nice salty room with zero gravity chairs. The prices are very reasonable and the even offer senior discounts. This is a hidden gem writing Union square. Definitely worth a try.

This review is specifically for TMJ massage, and even more specifically for TMJ massage performed by Jodee. I've had TMJ disorder since high school and, as I've aged, the flare-ups have gotten much worse—and way more frequent. My dentists over the years haven't been incredibly helpful; the only thing they really offer is a nightguard, which I basically wear until I gnaw holes through it. Rinse, repeat. Looking for more proactive solutions, I tried Botox—it offered relief, but not lasting relief. And it was EXPENSIVE. I've always loved massage, and I'd heard rumors of the slightly scary-sounding "intraoral" TMJ massages. I was shocked that no one local offers TMJ massage (or at least, don't advertise it). After expanding my search, I finally found the Salt Cave, 55 minutes away. Figuring it couldn't hurt to try, I emailed the Salt Cave and Jodee responded right away. I would travel to the ends of the earth for the relief that Jodee has given me. I haven't had a real TMJ flare-up since I've started seeing her, and I've been seeing her for about four months now. The miracles she has worked on my jaw are seriously ... well, miraculous. I'm no longer constantly massaging a swollen, painful cheek, or feeling that pop when I open my mouth too wide. Even after the first visit I noticed a seriously impressive difference. I'm more cognizant of my posture, my stress levels, and my face in general. Not only is Jodee amazing at TMJ massages, and not only is the pricing very reasonable for the amount of relief she provides. Jodee just also happens to be a darn sweetheart. These may not be the supremely relaxing spa massages we're used to falling asleep in, you may have to participate, and you even get homework, but I leave Jodee each time feeling energized, invigorated, and physically stronger than when I walked in. Jodee makes fun chitchat, checks in with you on comfort levels, and above all listens to you and your body. An example: one visit, I had recently suffered the worst migraine of my life, brought about by changing medications, high humidity, and PMS. I let Jodee know that I would likely have more jaw tension because of this ... and she went to town on my neck, working the specific muscles that were still screaming, while still not neglecting my jaw. She even educated me on the areas I can massage myself, and loaned me a neck-training device to see if it would help. She gets no money from that; I wouldn't be buying such a device from her. She's just that caring and kind, and genuinely wants to help people feel the best that they can. Jodee's a healer. And I didn't know that TMJ was something that could be healed or even improved, until I met her. Grateful for her every single day, and can't wait to see her again.

The Salt Cave is a very special place to visit in Glens Falls. From the minute you walk in the door, your relaxation begins. I first tried the Halotherapy after recovering from a respiratory sickness, and after leaving felt immediately better. Most recently I had a massage with Kelsey and it was magnificent. The work the owners have done to bring the Salt Cave to life is worth a visit to see. These are the unique types of businesses we need in Glens Falls and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic first experience. Dana was warm and welcoming and oh so helpful in guiding me around and taking care of my needs, i.e. water, comfort while waiting. My massage therapist, Heather, was excellent. She found all those pesky hidden knots in my back and patiently and expertly worked them out. The hour went by so quickly, next time one and half hours! The halo therapy (salt cave) was a unique experience and Dana wrapped me up like a "burrito". I was so comfy. Later that evening, my sinuses drained and I was able to cough up a lot of mucous, as I do have chronic allergies & asthma. Very therapeutic. I will be back!!!!

I brought my granddaughter for her first massage. She said her massage with Jen was amazing. Jen was very much in tune with my granddaughter’s sports needs. She wasn’t uncomfortable at all. A great experience for her.

Robin gives the absolute best facials. Such a relaxing experience. My face is glowing today. So smooth and soft! Such a luxurious experience truly. Thank you for such a great experience I look forward to going back!

Try Shiatsu with Brian. He shows you techniques to use at home and you will feel your whole body open. I wish I could go weekly that it how rewarding this massage is for your body.

The entire atmosphere at the Cave is amazing. Dana has created a warm and nurturing environment with a staff that clearly care. Robin's facials are outstanding and even a simple eye waxing is never simple! She makes sure you feel pampered from the moment you step into her room. I highly recommend massages by Bryan as well! You feel great energy here as early as walking into the lobby! Didn’t get a chance to do the salt cave as we got massages instead but everyone here is kind and friendly. The salt domes were a nice touch as you wait as well as the infused water. The website/ administrative system could use an upgrade and I suggest reminding customers that they can bring their own oil for their massage as that would’ve been helpful to know. Thanks for the sesh!

UPDATE: Robin’s facial has been absolutely the most relaxing and beautifying experience, it’s a monthly indulgence.

I almost don’t want to give this review because it’s already so difficult to get an appointment however, I was so pleased with everyone at The Adk Salt Cave! From the moment I walked in, even though it was very busy, I was greeted by the very kind receptionist. I was offered lemon/mint water and she had me place my feet on a heated salt block! My masseuse, Heather, was amazing! As she focused on my problem areas, I could feel the stress disappear! I’m making this a monthly, if not weekly, thing for sure!

The salt cave is an oasis. As soon as you walk in, you receive a warm welcome from the team at the desk. Masks are still required as of October 2021, which I appreciate. I received one of the best massages I’ve ever gotten, and was immediately hooked.This is not the ‘I just want to relax’ massage, mind you. I’m not sure if other therapists offer a Swedish style (they may, and I advise you to call and find out) but what I received was a combination of shiatsu/Thai yoga in which my therapist is really seeking to map my body and target deeply seated ailments, which requires digging deep into pressure points and isn’t always relaxing, but oh so rewarding. I am now a regular, seeking treatment every 3 weeks to help keep my body happy. Thank you Adirondack salt cave!

I had the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic facial with Robin! Between the beautiful environment, soothing music and gentle massage, I fell asleep for a good part of the hour. My skin now feels refreshed and much healthier! I’m looking forward to another facial next month followed by time in the salt cave! If you haven’t visited, this place is a must experience!!

I had a facial with Robin that was amazing. It was so relaxing. I did not know I would also have my head, arms and hands massaged which was a pleasant surprise. The heated gloves on the hands were a nice touch. Robin made sure to ask if I was comfortable and told me what she was doing prior to each step. I highly recommend Robin for a facial and will be back for sure!
